Did I tell everyone that I went... camping?

Friday night, with a few male and female friends, deep in a hollow.

I spent some time making a list of the events that happened during our time in the woods:

1. My friends got pass-out drunk or intoxicated enough to where they were incoherent, while it was left to the sober one (me) to watch for any bears, coyotes, lycanthropes, etc.
2. I sustained about 20 mosquito bites. (13 on one arm)
3. My friends enjoyed time with their female counterparts. Which is a more politically correct way of putting it.
4. Thankfully, no flesh eating viruses emerged, although I fear I may have contracted West Nile from all these damn mosquitoes.
5. No vicious, inbred mountain men came out. (We already had those)
6. Strangely, I made it past 3:30 a.m. before finally rolling up in the sleeping bag, while some friends stayed up well into the daylight hours. (I suspect alcohol has an effect on this)
7. When I woke, I thought I had rolled into the creek nearby, but it turned out just to be dew.
8. Apparently, from what friends have told me, while I was asleep in my bag, several people ran into it. Hard. They said one time, I rolled all the way down the hill before stopping because someone ran into me and tripped. I told them they must've got me in the head, because I don't remember any of this.
9. We had a sufficient supply of fireworks. Mostly M80s and Black Cats, which were used to cause huge flashes of light around the site.
10. I won't be going this weekend. Maybe next... or the next.

If I do go again, I'll try to stop them from drinking.

...don't try and stop your friends from drinking, that could be dangerous to your health. Just try to get them to drink less, so they can remember the good time they had the night before. [img]wink.gif[/img]
